When Ikea Is Our Friend

So Emily and I had a very busy weekend.  On Saturday around 9 AM I got this bright idea to go to the Ikea in Minneapolis.  So . . . by noon we were on our way sans children.  We power-shopped our way through and came up with some really good bargains.  On Sunday, it was installation day.  Not an easy task as no one had keys to the storage closet where the flatbed was :-(  Instead we carried it all up by hand.  Other than that fiasco, everything went in really well.

CitizenWausau.com - Coming to a screen near you . . .

Just wanted to call you attention to the new splash page we’re using for Citizen Wausau.  In case you’re just joining us, Citizen Wausau is a new online blog for people of the Central Wisconsin area.  There’ll be news, commentary, coverage of area events and what’s even more interesting, the ability to create your own personal blogs within the site (kind of like myspace).

Special thanks to Andy Laub for the design of our header!

Go check it out - we’d love to hear your feedback.  If you’d like to be a contributor, please go to our contact page and let us know!

  2. Make sure you are a good fit with the community.
  3. Above all, be ready to contribute to the community
